5 Fun things to do in Summer to help you prepare for the next school year.

1. Read

Read anything, books, magazines, novels, blogs among other things.  Reading will keep your brain active during the summer break . It would also be a good idea to read your literature books before school actually starts. That way, you will be ahead of the class and you will have a clearer understanding of the concepts when you re-read in class.

2. Relax

The point of the break from school is to allow you to recharge and renew your energy in preparation for the new school year. Relax and allow your body to rejuvenate. Sleep in for an extra hour or 3 :-) , stay in your pajamas all day or just go to beach all day. There are several relaxing activities that can be done at home all by yourself. If you would like some ideas let me know in the comments below.

3. Enter competitions

Summer has a lot of competitions aimed at keeping young people active and out of trouble. They benefit you as an individual in many ways. Outside of the fact that you can win prizes, the competition keeps your brain active and allows you to meet new people in your age group with similar interests. 5. Get your sleeping schedule back on track...
You can start doing this at least one week before school reopens. Start going to bed earlier and waking up the time you would normally wake up for school . You would be training your body to wake up at a specific time. Soon enough, you will not even need an alarm clock.
