Here are 5 Tips to help you.

1. Identify your Ideal Study Time

Figure out a time when you concentrate best and you will be able to retain the most information. Some persons prefer getting home from school, sleeping then waking up to study while others get right to it. Some wake up early before school and do their studying at that time. It's really up to you. If you are not sure of your ideal time, use this week to try different times to see what works best for you.

2. Prioritize Difficult Subjects when studying

According to scientists, your ability to retain information diminishes after about 25-30 minutes of studying. We also know that after studying the information for a subject you consider difficult, you simply begin to hate it and you lose interest.  This brings us to the conclusion that its better to tackle the harder subjects first as you will retain more of the information when your brain is "fresh". Besides, it will not feel like such a drag when you are studying the subjects that you find easier.

3. Find a Conducive Place for Studying

Finding a study space can be difficult. The bed is made for sleeping. More than likely, you will fall asleep if you study in the bed. Find a space that allows you to concentrate and focus, and is free from distractions such as cellphones. A quiet place that is organized and has all the items you need at arms length.

4. Study Days Ahead

Spread out study time, days before the exam to allow enough rest in-between study days. This will also allow you to plan effectively for each subject while reducing your anxiety before and during the exam. This is why it is important to create a study timetable to help you with proper organization.

5. Get Enough Sleep

Scientists have agreed that the brain is best prepared for tedious mental activity when you have a solid night's rest. It is futile to stay up all night trying to cram your brain with information. It will not be retained. It is best to get enough rest so that your time spent studying can be effective.

Studying is important and it has to be done. It is best to find a good study technique that you can stick to. Work smart....Not hard.
All the best✌.
