Introduction to Geography This post includes the definition of the word Geography, Branches of Geography, Sub-Branches of Geography, Importance of Geography as well as Careers in Geography. Definition Every Definition of Geography must include 3 things: 1. The People             2. The Earth               3. Interaction between the people and the environment A good definition therefore would be: Geography is the study of the Earth, the People and their interaction with the natural environment.
