This indicates the name of the place being represented. It may also include the type of map.
Scale
This indicates the size of the map in relation to the actual ground being represented. There are different types of scales. You can learn about them in another post.

This shows what the symbols, abbreviations and colors on the map means.

This is a square or rectangle drawn around the map as a boundary
